Which records can be compared?
The source files contain 296 non-standard localities in FY2026 and 295 in FY2027. Matching the GSA DestinationID and requiring identical coverage text leaves 294 comparable localities, plus the separate standard CONUS record.
The standard lodging rate changes from $110 to $113 per night. It is not included in the initial locality table. Select “Standard CONUS only” to compare its lodging and meals allowances.

Records missing from one edition
Allentown / Easton / Bethlehem, PA is not separately listed in FY2027. Its FY2026 record remains available as history and is excluded from comparison. A removed record is not automatically assigned the standard rate. Check the FY2027 ZIP data and work-location boundaries for a new trip.
Names retained across editions
Oak Brook Terrace is written as Oakbrook Terrace in FY2027. Both carry GSA DestinationID 124. Both names are searchable and exported; the identity is comparable only if the coverage text is also unchanged.
Use the dates of the actual trip
FY2027 starts October 1, 2026. In the October comparison, FY2026 means October 2025 and FY2027 means October 2026. January, for example, compares January 2026 with January 2027. The annual peak is each edition’s highest monthly lodging ceiling; its month can differ between years.
For a trip spanning a month or fiscal-year boundary, use the rate for each actual overnight stay. Calculate a trip or download both full editions.
